THE LOCOMOTIVE USED AS NEW, - Long Description The LILIPUT L132024 reproduces the famous DB Class 219 diesel locomotive no. 219 001-5 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, set in Era IV and made in H0 scale (1:87). The locomotive 219.001-5 derives from the prototype V 169 001, developed as an evolution of the V160 and designed to tackle mountain lines thanks to the innovative auxiliary gas turbine system, used to provide additional power during departures with heavy trains and on steep gradients. This prototype contributed to the development of the subsequent DB locomotives of the 210 and 218 series. The L132024 is the high-end version of the Liliput series and is factory-equipped with an ESU DCC Sound digital decoder and integrated speaker, offering a realistic reproduction of the engine sounds and operating functions of the locomotive.
