ITALERI IT3625 PORSCHE CARRERA RSR TURBO 1:24 GLUE AND PAINTS NOT INCLUDED. WE DO NOT SHIP TO THE CANARY ISLANDS. The Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera RSR was built in 1974 in four units to take part in the racing season of the World Championship for Makes. It was thus possible to witness the factory's participation with one and sometimes two cars under the colors of the Martini Racing Team, and entrusted to the official crews Muller - van Lennep and Koinigg - Schurti. Despite having almost the same power (about 500 hp) as their rival cars, the Porsches did not have the lightness or handling of the latter, which ran in the Prototype category. A fortunate combination of speed and reliability allowed, however, to achieve very respectable results in the nine races on the calendar, including two second places: one at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and one at the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.

The Ford Escort Mk 2 was launched on the market in 1975. It was a decisive evolution compared to the Escort Mk 1 presented at the 1968 Brussels Motor Show. It retained the high quality mechanics of the previous version but was completely revised in the design which interpreted the aesthetic and stylistic taste of the 70s. The product range was also much broader, with three body variants (2-door, 4-door and 3-door station wagon), five engines and numerous trim levels and configurations. Produced mainly in the German factories of the Ford Group, it was a good commercial success. In addition to the functional versions, there was also an Escort Sport version featuring a more aggressive look and markedly sporty interiors. Finally, the RS 1800 version with a 115 HP twin-cam engine was also presented, which forms the basis for the special version used in the World Rally Championship and which obtained significant results. The Swedish couple Thorszelius Hans, who finished second in the prestigious Monte Carlo Rally in 1979, won the World Rally Championship at the end of the year. The Motosport team also obtained excellent results with the pairing Mikkola Hannu - Hertz Arnee who finished fifth in the Monegasque event.
