The Breda Ba.88 Lince (Italian lynx) was an Italian medium-high wing bomber with all-metal structure and retractable landing gear. The transmission in the basic version was provided by two Piaggio P-XI RC40 engines 1000 HP each. The prototype flight took place in 1936. Serial production lasted in the years 1937-1940, ending with the production of 149 machines of this type. The aircraft was armed with 3 12.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine guns, 1 7.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine gun and a load of up to 1000 kg of bombs. The Breda Ba.88 aircraft was created in response to the Italian Air Force's request for a new twin-engine bomber capable of dive bombing. The aircraft was created as a distant development of another project of this company - the Breda Ba.75 machines. Initially, the Breda Ba.88 was a very promising aircraft: it had a large excess power, good performance for this class of aircraft, was aerodynamically refined and had a large bomb-loading capacity. However, during the service and operation of Ba.88, it did not live up to the hopes placed in them. It was a mechanically underdeveloped structure with a high failure rate. It was also found to have inadequate height for a dive bomber. It was also difficult to fly with a full load. Despite these drawbacks, aircraft of this type were initially used by units stationed in Sardinia, and then took part in the fighting in North Africa in the period 1940-1943. By 1943, all Breda Ba.88 machines had been withdrawn from the line or lost in combat.

The FIAT G.91 is an Italian attack fighter aircraft with an all-metal structure, low-wing design and slanted wings. The aircraft's history dates back to NATO's announcement in 1953 for a new light combat attack aircraft known as the LWSF. As part of this competition, the FIAT company has just made the G.91 aircraft, the prototype of which made the flight in August 1956. Two years later, the machines entered service. The aircraft turned out to be a great construction success and served in the Italian, German and Portuguese air forces until the early 1990s! In total, 770 machines of this type were built. The main power unit of most versions was the Bristol Siddeley Orpheus 803 engine, but in the G.91Y version it was replaced by two General Electric J85 engines. Two main versions were created: the G.91R combat attack aircraft and the G.91T training version. Technical data (G.91R version): Maximum speed: 1075 km/h, rate of climb: 30 m/s, maximum ceiling 13100 m, maximum range: 1150 km, armament: fixed - 4 M2 machine guns, 12.7 mm caliber and 2 DEFA 30 mm guns, suspended - up to 1814 kg of load.
